Stamas is also one of the founders of VideoFimWeb.com Inc. the internet publicity and advertising company that produce's each year's Platinum Pias Awards at Robert De Niro's Tribeca Cinema.

How the project started

it began in inwood manhattan washington heights nyc

You may have heard of the Broadway show "In the Heights", well the insanity fest experience began in the insanity of the heights. Kids were getting killed by playing in the spraying water of fire hydrants, getting hit by cars whose windshields were blinded. This and other crimes and misdemeanors were occurring. So long time New Yorkers and new Inwood Manhattan neighborhood condo owners Yianni Stamas and his wife Alison decided to do something about it.

Yianni, a celebrity filmmaker, educator and marketing consultant for three decades, began filming the problems of Inwood, while Alison joined the condo board of the community building they moved in to. Soon several celebrity role models got involved and via a story broadcast on NY1 cable as well as featured on the cover of "The Manhattan Times", the fire hydrant deaths issue was finally addressed by the mayor. The result? Precautions were put in place that greatly reduced the fatality numbers.

But this was just the beginning, there is much work to do. So what started out as a way to help the youth of Inwood/Washington-Heights has evolved into celebrity role model guidance experience where through a movie, a network and a show, stars share details about their own celeb paths, thereby providing young people and others with a web marketing track they can go on to become a celeb in his or her chosen field.
